Phil G. calls meeting to order at 7:09pm, quorum not held therefore no votes to be held.
Treasurer’s Report – Brian White
1 new member payment has been made. US Sailing Dues are due. Discussion held regarding renewal of dues for the Northeast Sailing Association.
Race Committee Report- Brian Dowling
No further activity on the book has been made, and the book is on the web for a comment period. No bylaw meeting has been set.
Discussion regarding combing Soling’s with PHRF boat races held.
John P. reported dates of NOOD’s June 24-26th in Toronto, discussion held about how this corresponded with VSC race schedule.

Soling/One Design Committee – Ed Trombley
Annual Soling class meeting has been postponed until March, so there is still time to add agenda items.
2006 World’s will be held in Annapolis, MD. 2005 US Championships in CT this summer, no qualification is necessary.
A thank you note was sent to Frank Pabst for help in removing racing marks this fall.
Rating Committee – Chris Duley
Meeting with LCPHRF was held, they reviewed some boats, and there are no changes to any boats in VSC. There may be possible changes to J24’s.
Social Events Committee- Dan Inhelder
Planning for Midwinter Fiesta at Lake Placid Pub and Brewery

Events –
Discussion held regarding Clinton Regatta, waiting for the date of the Soling North American’s to see if there are any conflicts. Steve Frederick is willing to be flexible on dates.
Chris D. reports the Boating Center is looking for possible volunteers to sit on it’s Board of Directors. The center has met with the Waterfront and Rec Director, Kelly King. They are tentatively planning a 2 week sailing program.

Bob B. presented possible survey for interest of cruising boats in racing.
